It now appears that there are five teams in the league. Edinburgh X2, Glasgow, Redcar and Workington. Who is actually running the league? To be ever so nice to the public, would they actually publicise the fixtures? Asking for many friends.

Be patient, they haven't even had an AGM yet and don’t know who’s running what ( two long time team managers have already stood down ) and then they have to have the promoters agreement to run a fixture in the second half and it’s still only February so it ain’t going to happen anytime soon.

Asked the question re fixtures on the Edinburgh Monarchs Speedway | Facebook and the answer was given by Edinburgh Monarchs Speedway is that the fixtures will be issued before the season start.

Well, that helps!!!  :D

As non of you have tried to arrange fixtures based around kids getting time off from school, having to travel , in some individual cases, hundreds of miles, clashes with youth rounds, grass tracks, flat tracks, family holidays, parents time off , getting permission of your host promoter to run on a particular night , and then having four clubs all running on the same race night ! …..then maybe you would understand the difficulty of running an NJL team.

Give them a break !

Sad to see you have stood down KK but I know you were upset over the handling of the league by you know who last year. Who’s taken over ?

Thankfully I’m hearing he’s ’stood down’, not 100% sure who will end up running it , maybe a previous co-ordinator is coming back…..possibly.

I have every respect for those who are involved at the Junior Level - riders, mechanics, promoters, fixture compilers etc. etc.  My post was tongue in cheek, as, what I meant was that the fixtures wouldn't be much use being issued after the season has started (trying to state the bleeding obvious!!).

Sorry if it caused any offence - it was not meant.

Believe Neil Vatcher has been looking at arranging fixtures.

Is the Armadale visit to Workington on 29th June in doubt already with the Championship meeting scheduled that day being moved?

As it’s the first time ever the SCB have published the fixtures, that’s why they will be inaccurate.
