BritPete Posted May 9, 2004 Report Share Posted May 9, 2004 What a shame the world cup in it's new format did not start year's ago, Norris was called up last year because of injuries, he obviously enjoyed his new found fame, his form this year has been outstanding. Once he was one of the most negative rider's in speedway, if something did not suit him, he would shut shop, but, no more, what a shame he did not apply himself like this before, his career could have been very different. Also, Loram and Richardson are showing very good form, great for British speedway, and if for once they can keep away from injuries, they will surely put a very strong challenge down. It is now up to the other guys to show us their mettle: can Dave Norris keep the form up? will Danny Bird and Chris Neath still be worldbeating in a few months time? can Bomber and David Howe pick up the pieces? Can Joe Screen nick Jason Crump's 'mechanic' and tuner? will Dean Barker's form improve once he has a break from Jordan's cleavage?
