What's wrong with deciding it on penalties? They could easily set up a goal on the centre green.

Or like "It's a Knockout"...

Blindfold the riders...

And have them carry coloured water around the track each side of the bike in buckets...

Each have two buxom wenches dressed in alpine garb shouting "left, left left" as they hit the bends on one and three..

The one with the most water left at the finish in the buckets wins...

Would pack em in.

Dan 4 Robert 0...

Amazing...

I actually think that Lambert has more of a chance in winning a World Title than Dan given their respective capabilities...

Both have loads of talent, but Lambert seems to have that "hard edge" that Dan sometimes lacks...

Yet 4 GP's between them...!

How strange...

Haven't attended for over ten years now, if you're there with a few beers on board and taking in the atmosphere it can seem good, but in the cold light of day it's very average.  Even the fireworks are getting fewer and fewer with every year, hardly worth bothering with them now going by that 'display'.

With a 1-2 it can't be anything other than a successful night for British Speedway.

For me it was maybe one of the better GP's we've witnessed in Cardiff.

It was rubbish, again.  Each heat pretty much all over before the end of lap 1.

Another disgrace of an event.  How many more years are they going to snub Belle Vue for this dump?

As much as it is obvious that the NSS would bea great venue and racetrack, the FIM would not sanction it due to the low capacity attendance

Already enough tracks in GP for the throttle jockeys.
Plus possible max 5k attendance hardly inspiring.

I’d agree with that as Dan is such a laid back character he seems too nice. We commented after Max had been hard on him in the first turn v Leicester that he really had the bit between his teeth in a way we rarely see. It’s there, just needs coaxing out.

Belle Vue would be good for a second GP in the UK but given the state of UK speedway is it any wonder why anywhere in the U K can justify holding this event. Cardiff and Wales have been supportive of the sport and it should not be under-estimated the contribution Wales has made to the UK GP speedway. It is not a disgrace it is simply economics and whoever the piper is they call the tune.  You also have not picked up that speedway is a second rate sport that does not deserve the exposure that the Cardiff Millennium stadium gives speedway. Face it, speedway is on its knees and the majority of the UK does not know it even exists and could not give a toss whether it is held at Cardiff, BelleVue or the IOW.
