As much as it is obvious that the NSS would bea great venue and racetrack, the FIM would not sanction it due to the low capacity attendance

Nowhere near as many people will go to Manchester as Cardiff, it's not really a 'weekend away' place is it?

Or like "It's a Knockout"...

Blindfold the riders...

And have them carry coloured water around the track each side of the bike in buckets...

Each have two buxom wenches dressed in alpine garb shouting "left, left left" as they hit the bends on one and three..

The one with the most water left at the finish in the buckets wins...

Would pack em in.

Nice idea, but Ithink there could have been another way to solve it. They should all have got into the inflatable helmets and done 100m race, a bit more exciting!

But they have GP’s elsewhere with equally low capacity????

Pretty good GP, passing in nearly all the races, good atmosphere despite the lower crowd, British winner what more can you ask, as good as a track as it is the day the GP goes to belle vue is the death of GP speedway in the uk

Was there some afters there between Lambert and Holder? Didn't get to see a replay inside the stadium

Lambert was interviewed after on the dicovery channel and he said one day Jack will end up in a pile himself and smirked 😉

Belle Vue would be good for a second GP in the UK but given the state of UK speedway is it any wonder why anywhere in the U K can justify holding this event. Cardiff and Wales have been supportive of the sport and it should not be under-estimated the contribution Wales has made to the UK GP speedway. It is not a disgrace it is simply economics and whoever the piper is they call the tune.  You also have not picked up that speedway is a second rate sport that does not deserve the exposure that the Cardiff Millennium stadium gives speedway. Face it, speedway is on its knees and the majority of the UK does not know it even exists and could not give a toss whether it is held at Cardiff, BelleVue or the IOW.

Sad but true, it amazes me that Cardiff can still get around 20k, for a lot of 'supporters' it must be the only speedway meeting they actually attend during the year.

I’m not a Holder fan,but that type of comment is uncalled for on TV.

Not a fan of Lambert either, prefer Bewley’s cool temperament Lambert in the past has shown how immature he is and I believe he is a poor loser but don’t like to show it. Dan top guy for me

Bewley being interviewed post final was refreshing. He seems a genuinely happy guy.  Compared to Woffinden he really is a breath of fresh air.

Both Lambert and woffinden can be hot heads at times and think they are it. Dan is so cool and don’t let a blip in form seem to affect him. He is such a nice guy, so level headed and worthy of all he gets.

They should have simple rules..

4 finish on the same points with less than four places to go for...

Have a run off...

How can a wild card qualify when he has no standing year to date?

It's even worse than that, a rider who actually qualified like Jan Kvech is ranked 15th but a seeded rider like Bewley is ranked 7th (or something like that). So if they were level the rider who got a seeded spot has an advantage of a rider who actually qualified!

Not sure how it worked out that Magic went out?

All 4 riders equal on 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th.

In the head to head section Magic and Robert should have went through (beat 2 other riders).

If you then use rankings it would be Bewley who goes out against Vaculik or if you still use head to head then Vaculik would go out against Bewley.

Glad I'm on holiday and didn't bother going.😀
