Im assuming that Dicken is doing a lot of laps in the Northern amateur meetings and looking impressive as otherwise i just don't get where his name has appeared in so many potential line ups? The last i heard is that Alcock had fallen out of love with the sport and was finished with it.....but things often quickly change.

Only in speedway can riders like H.McGurk & Crang have appalling seasons and then become sought after signings the following year.

While Max Perry gets dropped because he developed too much in a development league!

Don’t understand why Crang is considered in NDL.

Because he has never averaged above 4 in the Champ, Leicester want to win the league & there is no age limit in the NDL.

Gavin Parr could stand in for Middlesbrough if one of their riders broke down on the way for example.

And wouldn't we all hear about it if he did...

I knew that, but Crang is very unlikely to everAverage over 4 definitely not one for the future.Shows the state of the sport in Uk.

How can Gavin do that ? When he won’t be at their away meetings and possibly not at many of the home meetings either.

Now if you had said Stuart Swales ……

Look at any development league in most sports there's older players/riders whatever you wanna call them. There's not an unlimited supply of kids in any sport... experience in the team is always a good thing too...

1. Sam Hagon

2. Chad Wirtzfeld

3. Matt Marson

4. Luke Muff

5. Freddie Hodder

6. Harry McGurk

7. Jack Shimelt

I've got very mixed feelings about this team. I really liked Chad Wirtzfeld when he rode for IOW so I think it's great that he's back in the sport, he should fly around the NSS. I'm really not a fan of Luke Muff, let's just keep it at that. If Harry can get back to some kind of form it'll be really good for the team.

I can see this team finishing both top 2 and bottom 2 at the same time.

Standard Colts side namely be alright at home and chalk up decent wins and will look bang average or worse on thier travels

Fair comment, and the correct thing for the Aces to do I would suggest..

It keeps the Colts going and offers opportunities for new or young riders..

Winning at home (or narrow defeats), keeps punters turning up...

And the odd hammering away helps to keep the bank balance in the black...

First meeting on good Friday

Best wishes to all the Colts… we have a proud history of training young riders… going back to Dent Oliver in the mid 60s when I first saw the Colts… and even further back as well

Go Colts Go
