Schwantz34
Hello all Is anyone going to Inzell or Heerenveen this year? Luckily for me I'm going to manage to both, first Ice Speedway events for me since Covid. A shame that the awesome Russian riders will not be there, hopefully that cloud will be silver lined with a very open battle for the championship.
Mr Ore
Unsure if this is acceptable so MODS please remove if not. A friend of mine, who doesn't post on here, has just had major surgery and is unable to travel for several weeks. He has 2 tickets for each day at Inzell, 3rd bend, which he is now unable to use. Face value €140. He does not want payment but would like them to be used if possible. Anyone attending who has yet to buy stadium tickets, who could make use of them, please DM me with Email details, which I can pass to him to send the tickets (printable at home). As he says he would just like someone to get the benefit, so is happy to pass on at no charge, but a nominal donation to SRBF as a gesture, in exchange, would be appreciated.
steve69
Has anyone signed up for the FIM Moto tv for the Inzell + Heerenveen rounds? Looks excellent value of 13 euros for the 4 meetings if it is pucka.
Dave Goddard
Luca Bauer has withdrawn from his home Round this weekend after suffering an arm injury in a crash in Friday practice.

I just registered on the FIM website and you can do one meeting for Euro 7.90 which in itself is not bad value and includes replays.

There is a pirate stream on FB but the anti virus on my laptop won't touch it. It's flagged up the highest security treat so not worth it. Didn't expect so many close races. Heat 19 and the Final stood out from many others. Also, no practice starts and faffing about at the tapes. So refreshing. Brilliant and going to do it all again tomorrow!
Conkers
Can anyone confirm if there has been a German winner of an individual round of the Series since it was introduced in 1994? The assembled press here are divided on whether Max Niedermaier is the first German winner of a round. My current available records only go back to 2013/14 and I can't access anything before then as I'm presently in Inzell, and the HDD with that info is at home. If you can help please DM Me asap

If you can help please DM Me asap I asked a question some time ago on here as to who was the last non Russian to win a round prior to them being kicked out and I'm sure the answer was Gunther Bauer in 2003. Could be wrong though. Gunther is there in Inzell so you could always ask him Edited March 24 by JamesHarris

Thanks for the reply.
Dave Goddard
You are correct - Gunther won the final Round in 2003 in Berlin, last non-Russian to win a Final before Haarahiltunen in 2022.
steve69
Yes, Wow what a meeting. Took out the subscription. Well worth 13 Euros just for this meeting alone!!!! Excellent work THE DAVES!!!! & the Motottv crew. Thought Ref Topinka bottled a couple of calls. Jell should have been excluded at turn 1 crash. Svensson rode inside track in one heat & Huusko caused Weber crash. In my opinion. Best Ice meet I have seen. Bet it was a great atmosphere in Inzell after the meeting.
