Brummies 2024...

I would suggest that maybe 'talking' to means 'talked' to 6 riders

One of those 6 is/was Lindgren who has said no (unless there is room for further negotiation) two of the 6 are the Pawlicki brothers

Leaves 3 remaining, one of whom is Thorsell, another is Zagar leaving one which is either Thomsen or Nilsson most likely Thomsen

I have it from the horse's mouth (different horse) that the new signings will be announced "In the fullness of time". Make of that what you will. The other horse also commented that "People seem to think that you can just pick up a phone and sign riders. It isn't that simple".

Whilst I agree it is not simple as picking up a phone  and signing riders it seems to be an issue that Birmingham have had in recent seasons (I seem to recall a horse saying riders are phoning up wanting to ride for Brum then the same horse said something along the lines of if Bartosz became available money wouldn't be an issue)  maybe it's the other horse (for whatever reason) that has a problem persuading top class riders to sign for Birmingham, after all Oxford who joined the Premiership at the same time as the Brummies did not seem to have a problem signing riders and announced there Team weeks ago.

Says who?  Yours is one of those posts that spreads the sort of fake news that turns people like Lefty off from going to Birmingham for the speedway.

What on earth are you on about. The news is on the Brummies website.

That was probably the idea ...

Another ridiculous post. The Midlands needs teams to succeed.

Rory’s average dropped I think towards the end of last season was certainly racing at 4 on away futures for wolves so would of been good signing for Brum at 4, with Zack and Leon at 6 and 7. If Rory can stay fit as he a few crashes which seemed to hamper him would be a positive signing. You’ve then got four ex wolves riders that got into the playoffs.

Parking isn't the responsibility of the club. Most sporting venues have some Parking which is usually limited,  (perry barr is no different ) however once that is full, its up to you, the car driver to park your car. Ring a major football club and ask, where to park, and they may wet themselves laughing at you. At least some speedway clubs try to make an effort.

Thats nonsense though. Football clubs are trying to house 30-60,000 depending on which stadium and team it is. Speedway teams are looking to park up around 1,000 people at the very max, so probably 750 cars maybe. It’s not asking alot for them to provide some sort of service, area or deal to make that viable and clear for their customers.

It would appear that Birmingham's team building situation has attracted the interest of the Polish press - https://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/1097707/zuzel-marzy-im-sie-transfer-bartosza-zmarzlika-finanse-nie-bylyby-dla-dzialaczy-

Reading between the lines here, I dare say that those wanting Rory Schlein to join the Brummies may be disappointed,

So, what does it say? I take it that we are going to sign Zmarzlik? (not).

It just says that we mentioned that we would pay the wages if he was available and that he once did four races for us but whilst zmarzlik is not available, his team mates, lindgren  snd laguta, are available.

I really fear for the brummies unless they can sign Freddie Lindgren and another proven premiership rider.
maybe even Antonio lindback with a view to attract some of the ethnic local population.

Didn't know there was that many Swedish nationals living in Birmingham?

Lindgren will not be signing. The Chris Adams interview on You Tube reveals the reason why.

Having watched the interview now I now know it’s down to lack of flights in and out of Sweden which makes things difficult.
in thorsells case his partner is expecting and the babe is due when the season starts.
