GiveusaB
Poor 'Worral'....scapegoat for a badly selected Manager/Side....the whole set-up at B'ham appears to be amateur-clueless- The problem/s start at the root...It's obvious that Tolley doesnt have any speedway nouse- he seems to put his faith and trust in someone whom also doesn't have a clue at this level. Hand over the reins to CVS-P.Adams. 1
heathen52
Whatever business acumen Nigel Tolley has he needs to bring it to the Speedway management team, because as things stand it appears whoever makes the decisions at Birmingham Speedway does not have a clue how to pick an actual team, this season is already proving to be another write off and Birmingham will end up with nowt again except for more £££££,s down the drain, and that's the worry how long can Tolley continue throwing money at a losing team ?. I will say again if Nigel Tolley continues then he simply must get an experienced proven manager in, one that knows how to pick/manage a winning team. That might be a great idea if either were interested - haven't they already said they wont be/have no intention of switching allegiances? As mentioned Peter Adams would be the natural choice but its quite obvious he has no interest in taking the job and to be fair he's more than put alot of his life into managing so is maybe glad of the rest from it. I saw John sampford ( rye house) managed a challenge match recently, he'd be ok but again probably got no interest in doing it. Birmingham are definitely in a mess. *JJ
It is fairly obvious that there is a lack of leadership somewhere. At the last match, the Brummies riders seemed de-motivated, unlike the Oxford team who were much more determined.
4BenMoran
Problem is Ermolenko was in his pomp 30 years ago in early 90’s as a rider, so those coming through now who are generally younger than that don’t relate to him or just seen him waffle on Eurosport. Brummies either need someone who is British the recently retired bracket (last 5 years) or International who has links in last 10 years to Britain who they will have watched riding when growing up. From seeing the riders in the pits with Ermolenko there just doesn’t seem to be that click and that will ultimately wont help the spirit in the camp
FishersGate
If the Brummies do decide to go for it again next season then the team needs to be completely different not just in quality but in its attitude and culture. The fans aren't asking for a world class team but rather one that is decent at home and doesn't seem to throw in the towel. They should be looking at riders such as : Masters, Ben n Zack Cook, Mountain, Simon Lambert, Douglas, King, Lawson etc. Real steady eddy's basically with ofcourse a good number 1 like Lingren if wanted to try GB again

The difference is riders at Worky's level are a lot easier to take off the conveyor belt if any of them didn't perform. noaksey
Rosco is the man Brummies need. You'd have to let him build the team though otherwise he wouldn't be interested
Goldhawk
Good idea. As a neutral we need Birmingham back and performing and a Premiership of at least 10 teams. Promising signs this year, lets get Premiership back strong first , the rest can follow. Poole & Glasgow to come in for starters. Long shot but club desperately needed in S.E. i.e.somewhere like Kent ( Sittingborne ) Surely something could be sorted.
