Brummies 2024...

Flint stagnating at best (similar to Gilkes), if he wasn’t a Rising Star he wouldn’t be near a Premiership team, whereas the likes of Hagon, Boughen, D Thompson look like they are moving forward

But plenty can change when riders are young and developing.

A year ago the general view on the forum was that Dan Thompson and Sam Hagon were not making significant advances, but step forward a year and they are both hot. Similarly Vinnie Foord made limited progress last year but is going great guns this year

Positives for the Brummies last night in Lindgren needed no time to settle and Tom Brennan and Viktor Lampart also looked quick.

I think you obviously lost the Semi Final at Home on Monday,8 points up and fail to take a lead was worrying for the Birmingham boys.

But last night at Reserve for me was your huge problem,Leon Flint tried hard, but just didn't get involved in enough races, but I agree,Pawlicki looked woeful,I praised him up on Monday, and to be fair said to some Brummie Supporters I think it will be Zack Cook that goes, but don't know if that was the correct decision.

Trouble is who is out there for you to bin Pawlicki, hope it gets sorted,as enjoyed my 2 visits to Birmingham this season.

Good Club,great Supporters.

Still plenty of points in reserve so the scope is massive, if money was no problem then someone like Vasulik. Realistically though, bin Pawlicki and bring in Rory with Lampart going back to reserve. Pawlicki clearly isn’t up for it.

Pawlicki is still a good rider .but clearly doesnt want it here...If he's on a guaranteed amount  he wont kill himself when he's at the back ...

Very much doubt his on a gaurantee. More of an opportunity to come back to Britian earn more money against the polish currency and hope it opens up another opportunity. His getting quicker at PB and would surprise me if he gets close to double figures  consistently there by the end of season. Away may prove more of a problem.

Not delivering and unlikely to improve on previous contributions when/if he gets back into 1-5. Why did Tarasenko quit KL? Only seemed to have one bad match and that was it.

I must say that i was gutted. Tarasenko was a potentially a crowd pleaser, but Klindt has stepped in, and looks like he will do a job.

Being greedy though we could have had both if Vadim hadn't been told to quit and they'd been ruthless when Oxford let Klindt go.

Years ago i was loyal, but if you really want to win, you can't be. Agree 100%.. It comes down to money/ crowds/ sponsorship , at the end of the day .Lynn seem to be lacking in most of them, unfortunately.

I agree! I think we’d have got Klindt in for Palm Toft even if we had kept Vadim (even before MPT got injured)

He's better than Worrall, Lampart, Sedgemen and Pawliki!!!

Especially around PB!

I take leave to doubt this. He last rode for us several years ago, in the Championship.

Say this comment in the Speedway Star "Tom Brennan has called for his Birmingham bosses to pick a riding order and stick with it" now I've not read the rest of the article yet, but my first reaction is why?

If Brummies lose every week, why would you keep the same riding order, why not try something new.

Also most of their riders race in multiple countries, with different formats, or race in 2 leagues in GB with different teammates, so how would keeping the same riding order benefit them?

I guess an argument could be made that Worrall should always ride at 2, because he can't score from anywhere else & Brennan is the obvious number 5 anyway.

That is what I said recently on here as well.

Why should Worrall always ride at 2 ?, is it because he likes to ride in heat 8 for easy pickings.. anyways back to the rest of them, a disgraceful performance at Kings Lynn tonight the fans deserve better performances than what they are getting, Tolley needs to read them the riot act, perform or get out.
