I’m going!!! God knows why. Yet another meeting where all I am hoping for is that it isn’t an another total  embarrassment like so many of last years meetings were. I won’t hold my breath .

Fair play.....I hope you have a safe trip!

Are you going to P/P today?

That was 17 years ago... the rulebook has probably changed 300 times since then...

Smetana signed for Poole one season but never actually rode as he couldn't get a visa. I believe the op has mixed up Skorja and Smetana. I was really looking forward to watching both ride for the Diamonds in 2020. It's a shame they, or anyone else, never will again.

I remember Smetana so that is where the confusion is possibly.

Meet the riders this evening.

Piotr Pawlicki will unfortunately not be in attendance however after accepting a late medical appointment to help him with treatment on his leg muscle damage.

Those pesky “late medical appointments” are a nuisance ain’t they…..

LR's comments in Thursday's press release.

“I’ve seen some of the rumours there that ‘we’re not going to see him’, but it was he who was determined he was going to still be at our Press and Practice next Monday to be with the lads and meet the fans in the evening and then the following week he will fly in to do the Media Day at Belle Vue.

“That is brilliant and it shows his commitment to the club; the doom and gloom merchants are out there saying ‘he’s going to let you down’, well no he’s not.

The team kevlars look awesome.

They do I agree. But two things ruin it. Firstly the obvious one, you can’t have one of your septet absent on press day, it completely ruins the whole point of the day and has made the promotion of the new season a farce. Pawlicki SHOULD have been there to fulfil media duties and commitments, have your “medical appointment” tomorrow ffs.

Secondly, they should have also had matching bike livery like most other clubs do. That picture above looks a bit of a mishmash mess.

Can't disagree with any of that.

Matching bikes definitely look better.

The basic kevlars are the same but each one is covered in different sponsors,  so non are alike. This also applies to bike covers, riders need the sponsors and many sponsors dictate their colours. There are a lot worse things going on in the world.

Absolutely correct - the red ‘B’ all over the legs makes you feel abit like you’re tripping and is abit of a design mess.

Pawlicki not being there isn’t a surprise at all and has made Rogers look even more stupid than normal.

Probably due to LR's only possible replacement being Schlein.

I don't buy his previous lengthy shortlist claim at all, I wouldn't be shocked if Brum were given special permission to run with Premiership Guests at No.1.

Higher ups will have to do them a favour otherwise the league will be in chaos before it's even properly started.

Wait and see, paperwork is being waited for from the powers that be.

Why wait and see ?

Just announce it...based on 'clearance' ? etc etc etc.......

It will most likely be Lingdren? just to get a few fans through the gate for the first month....
