I don't think that will be the team because the Oxford team comes to 40.30 after reductions so I think one of them must be heading to Brum in place of Zach Cook or Wiktor Lampart.

I think Zach is nailed on ! he's the type of rider that suits Bham's track....he can ride all lines when I've seen him.

Yeah, the points limit is 40 plus the RS.

The Premiership points limit has been raised to 40 (for six riders), with teams to be completed by a Rising Star, and the league will continue to stage the KO Cup competition plus an unchanged play-off format.

...you’ll see that Wiktor isn’t on the up at all. Almost the opposite

I was wondering where on earth Wiktor Lamparts name entered the equation. Did someone just pluck that name out of thin air or was there method to this?

I can think of several names from the Polish League who I'd rather sign than Lampart. I don't think that just naming them and raising peoples hopes / driving them to despair, is really a constructive thing to do though, because then, when they are not signed, those in charge get the blame for not signing someone who was only ever on a fans radar and never on theirs.

If you’ve followed Polish speedway for the last few seasons, you’ll see that Wiktor isn’t on the up at all. Almost the opposite. He looked so promising a few years back and looked like he could be set for a massive breakthrough - but has rather stalled and if anything gone backwards.

He’s abit awkward on the bike and not a naturally fluid rider but he still has potential.

I think we've been so starved of top youngsters in this country that we go a bit OTT when one is linked. As you say, Lampart isn't going anywhere particularly fast right now, i he was then he wouldn't be coming to the UK. Just like the majority of other top young riders don't.

It's a forum though, people are allowed to share ideas. You shouldn't have to avoid giving an opinion for riders / ideas for teams, just because someone may not be happy if it doesn't come off.

Lindgren hasn't ridden in Britain for years, why would he do so once Monmore closed?  Not sure he'd maintain a 9 3 average anyway.  But zi guess he's a #1.

Never rated Wiktor Lampart, was a very good 16 year old but hasn't really progressed in 5 years, easily bullied, tentative when in traffic. Too lightweight.

The same reason that Woffinden has possibly, Lindgren not riding in Sweden seems to have led to suggestions he might be back here but I've seen nothing to suggest it

Lindgren spent last season (all of it) with Västervik in Elitserien. Didn't he? Think he may have missed the start of one league season (2022 perhaps) in his long career but finished that season missing only the opening 6 fixtures?

Lindgren was in his day nighe unbeatable around Monmore, with PB as home track, it's a risk.

Let's be honest... Brummies fans have suffered.  Avoiding the 2nd tier wooden spoon & completing their fixtures is an achievement.

The signings of Flint & Brennan are a solid start to team.building, have potential to improve and are two riders well known to average Brummies fan.  But the next announcement needs to be more exciting, Brummies have a #1 ... be that Laguta, Pawlicki or Lindgren.

I believe he's not riding in Sweden this upcoming season

AGREED!

However, I think it will most likely be Z.Cook!?

Zagars insta story the other day was telling for me. Going on about fairies with a picture on him at belle Vue. So wonder if he’s hinting at the UK deal talking through. If that’s the case then Birmingham have gone for both pawlickis in the team which should help Lampart settle in

I don't think Lundgren would reach a 9.3 average, but it would certainly be better to sign him than go with a 7 point number one.
