Oxford Spires 2024

Recommended Posts

Mindboggling team changes this season by Oxford! Riss for Klindt made no sense tactically so that was clearly personal....this is bonkers!! A very overrated rider is Kemp ....once Harris hits better form they will have a good top4 with a good number 7 but gash in between

Kings Lynn will have the best reserve..People keep going on about Kerr but he hardly ever makes a full season without being dropped.

So Kemp replaces Kerr, who replaced Cook, who replaced .. Kemp (@ Leicester)

And they can have Cook back if they want him ;)

Didn't Kerr replace Cook at Leicester last year? Or have I got that wrong?

I think you may be right, they all seem interchangeable, there's only Batchelor missing from this equation

Crikey, if Oxford are struggling cash wise then everybody else must be, crowds are very good in Premiership, decent sponsorship. Championship levels seem slightly down but still more than most other tracks and Chargers crowds very good.

Will be very revealing when the time comes to declare for next season.

Has to be cash related.

Nobody would ever consider making that change with the opinion that it improves the overall 1-7.

Kerr 4 + 1 from 10 rides, team is hardly going to be any weaker.

He gets no luck with injury, could have been so much different, but this may well be best for both rider and team.

Maybe oxford just aren't very good at running a speedway team,it happens

You're probably right. They're ok at running 3 teams though. Some clubs can't be arsed to run 2.
