40-38
Cracking battle between Millik and Pollestad there!
SilentLurker
8 heats. Wet track. Great racing. Zero track grading. Ran over half a normal meeting inside 30 minutes. Clear example of how much messing about goes on in regular meetings and how unnecessary it is for the most part. 2
IainB
Somebody within British Speedway needs to be asking themselves what enables riders to race (really well) in these conditions that doesn't allow them to even start at King's Lynn, and abandon meetings like BV vs Sheffield and Birmingham vs Oxford, Oxford vs Ippo etc etc Edited July 10 by iainb 1

It is not too bad a meeting given the conditions but does prove that the bikes can still ride in wet weather and riders who attack the track can make a good fist of it. Hopefully all stay safe in the conditions.
chunky
Interesting to hear Thomsen saying, "This is the UK" in regard to the weather! Like it's never rained in Denmark... 1

Think the fact it's not actually raining is a factor. If it starts, I bet the attitude changes.
Hawk127
So quick in getting riders out for the next race. Can U K speedway learn something from the way this is being run. Brings to mind almost the saying fast and furious
THE DEAN MACHINE
Something which is refreshing is riders are coming out before other riders come back in which is something they do at the Isle of Wight and they manage to get 30 heats in, also not a lot of gardening going on 1

Hawk127
The riders are getting on with it and no messing. How refreshing given what normally prevails in these conditions. Well done all the riders.
