Looks like it will be the weakest reserve pairing (on paper) to me. gotta make sure they make use of the 75% reduction to Kemp's average & not do an Ipswich or King's Lynn & miss the points limit.

At home this pairing is pretty good, away from home it may struggle but if the rumoured team is correct then it's still a good side..Joe will have plenty of practice this season as I think he's riding for the cubs and for Plymouth.

We would have made full use of the points limit if 2 riders who had agreed to sign didn't make u-turns at the last minute.... Also I see this as a positive as it leaves a lot of scope to bring in another rider on a higher average if someone is struggling. Furthermore, it was anticipated that Wojdylo would come back in on an assessed average of 6 opposed to 5 as that is what the new ruling suggested, however, this was not the case...

Quotes from Stewart Dickson:
"That was the position [RS] held by Kemp in 2023. With his 4.04 average now meaning he moves out of the Rising Star scheme, but with a 25 per cent discount applied meaning he will start the new season on 3.03
"There was an extensive list of riders on the Rising Star list but Joe was the one who stood out"

Could someone help me please? Who qualifies for the 25% discount and is there a published Rising Star list for 2024?

I think the 25% reduction is given to rising stars that moves out of a rising star position,to encourage clubs to take the riders on in the team.

I'm still amazed nobody took a chance on Mountain with reduction in his average last year Wonder if belle Vue still get the 25% reduction

Surely that would have been a good ruling for the Champ rather than the Prem?

Don't think Joe can ride in the  NDL,  with the rules for next year?

With all due respect to Joe, there’s no way Leicester would pick Joe over Dan so clearly Dan wanted the move to Ipswich.

If i understood correctly, going by what @W9 Lion said, Ippo had first refusal on Dan,  despite him being a Leicester asset, which sounds crazy!

the club last ridden for gets first dibs

Isn't the "asset process" really only to just help pay off debts if a club goes bust?

Seem to remember it was once quoted that it can help reduce the "bond" that gets paid...

It's way better than announcing it in the local paper at 6am on a Thursday morning. Fair enough the videos could be a bit more interesting or creative, but they're far more on trend than a boring article.

Sadly not on trend. Maybe on TikTok but not on old fashioned FB and X. Just pees off people. And the Leicester content  is far from creative and down right boring.
