No more videos please. Not original and damn annoying. So last year.

It's way better than announcing it in the local paper at 6am on a Thursday morning. Fair enough the videos could be a bit more interesting or creative, but they're far more on trend than a boring article.

Would have gone for Dan myself... especially in the aggregate bonus point era we're now in, he could rack up some decent scores at home, assuming he can also get a PL spot, as his lack of track time last season seemed to effect him quite badly

You've confused me, do you mean Champ spot?

If Dan T wanted to race for Leicester, I would have had him in a heartbeat, maybe he wanted to be loyal to Ipswich after Leicester dropped him?

If I was Dan and Ipswich wanted me, it wouldn't have been a difficult decision (as you mention).

Leicester dropped him last year so the same thing could have happened next year. I would also take racing with two of the top riders in the league as you are going to learn from them.

From listening to comments he made about Ippo last year it seems that absolutely no pressure was put on him at all, so you can't blame him for wanting to return... or was that Joe? either way no pressure

Dan is delighted to go back to Ipswich. He became a firm part of the Ippo family and was given loads of help and support from Emil, JD and all the riders and staff.

Who wouldn't say Yes to an offer to go back? Another year there, a solid year in the Championship and we might just see a real British prospect for a golden future.

I wouldn't call it a huge gamble, just a weak signing (sorry Joe)

To be fair if Dan chose Ipswich, there isn't much choice out there

I agree, which I why I said a "weak" signing, it's not a gamble if you sign the best available remaining rider, which could be Joe?

Quotes from Stewart Dickson:
"That was the position [RS] held by Kemp in 2023. With his 4.04 average now meaning he moves out of the Rising Star scheme, but with a 25 per cent discount applied meaning he will start the new season on 3.03
"There was an extensive list of riders on the Rising Star list but Joe was the one who stood out"

Could someone help me please? Who qualifies for the 25% discount and is there a published Rising Star list for 2024?
