1. Emil - standout performer in the league by far

2. Kurtz - kicked on massively in 2023 and outperformed Bewley by miles

3. Doyle - continued to perform at a world class level

4. Musielak - consistent and classy performer. Shame he got injured and missed Sheffield's play off win

5. Lidsey - added 2.7 to his average. No more needs to be said

6. Tarasenko - came into Peterborough with very little expectation, but hit the ground running and delivered above and beyond

7. Rowe - started slowly at Lynn, but as he became more comfortable and confident he is now the leading RS in the league

Just adding an honorable mention to Lewis Kerr. Totally went under the radar with many but delivered for Sheffield when it mattered.

I see most people have gone with six heat leaders and a R/S......I've deliberately named two second strings and two reserves as I think that's more in the spirit of a 'team'.

Depends if you're basing it off a Polish team;)

No stipulations as to the format of the 1-7. However, I see your point. Would of been good to get people's opinions on a Team of the Season 1-7 based on say 42 points. Mine for this would be:

1. Emil - 10.1

2. Howarth - 5.55

3. Douglas - 7.14

4. B Cook - 6.0

5. Lidsey - 7.86

6. Sedgemen - 5.07

RS - Rowe

Total - 41.72

It's fair but I don't think you can include someone that's only done 4 meetings in Wojdylo & Sedgmen fell off a cliff when Leicester needed him most.

Yeah fair points. I think Sedgemen majorly over achieved to start with and then reverted to type, he was never going to keep that form up. Went for Wijdylo because of his impact but could go for one of the Cook brothers or Blodorn instead. Maybe even Simon Lambert at a push.

Based on what I've seen

1. Emil, an absolute class act everywhere he has gone, he is a fair rider and finds speeds nobody else can match In British speedway.

2. Douglas, had a great season and always a stand out rider whenever I have seen wolves this year

3. Pickering, after a bad injury start of the season he joined Sheffield and in my view was the rider of the play offs.

4. Lidsey, bit of an unknown start of year looked a class act and impressed in the World Cup.

5. Musielak, exciting rider who was held his own as number 1 at times for Sheffield. Would of won the final more comfortably with him in the team

6. Ben cook, enjoyed watching his style on the bike, didn’t expect much but he impressed in a weak team for much of the year.

7. Bailey, looks a future gp rider. Attacks the track and will be a big asset for BV next year
