Psychological advantage to having the first leg first imo. As long as you win the home leg of course!

All down to individual riders

Big first leg win can help riders relax and just ride

Or think they have allready won and get caught out

Wonder if there's a possibility of switching the scheduled comets league meeting on July 27th to the cup tie.

Hope not! I'm coming up for a league meeting not a 1st leg of the BSN semi.

Put ur suggestion into Room 101 !

Updates said he came off and his bike rebounded off the fence and landed on his chest!! Painful!! I didn't watch on BSN and have not yet heard anything this morning.

Update on Tom: He's fine, just a bit sore and looking forward to a few days rest!!

Looking forward to seeing Sam Hagon and Tom Brennan (if selected/fit) representing Team GB on Friday and Saturday respectively.

C'mon the Boyzzzz :t:

If either of them get a ride, it will most likely mean Great Britain are not doing very well! So hopefully we don't see them.

Going on ur logic your saying that bring in a rider of 'lesser' ability when a team isn't doing so well. Why would you do that? That's like saying if Richard Lawson had a bad ride replace him with Vinnie Foord.

Ur logic is utter nonsense and Brennan in particular has proven ability around the NSS to be brought in at any time.

What are you talking about? Why would Britain take out one of their main two riders for a reserve if they are doing well? A reserve is there to replace a rider who isn't performing as he should, or (hopefully not) gets injured. Simples. If Brennan is replacing Lambert or Bewley then Britain will already be in trouble.

Just look at last night. Vicentin came in to replace an underperforming Covatti, and Janowski came in to replace a shaken-up Zmarzlik. You didn't see Sweden bringing in Berntzon for Lindgren or Thorssell.

Good grief, did you watch the meeting? Did you see the crash Zmarzlik had? Like to see you continue riding after that.

But your logic is like saying 'if Richard Lawson had a good ride replace him with Vinnie Foord'. That makes significantly less sense!
