LisaColette
It is very chilled on here compared to the unofficial Poole fans FB group!! Some are really not happy that Max has gone. I get why but as soon as Vinnie got 11 at Glasgow (where we still have to go) then they had to change it really imo. How do you turn that down? As long as fans direct any frustrations at the management and not Vinnie as he is innocent in all this.

The deal was done way before the u21 final!

flagrag
Poole have made a great signing with Vinnie he is all action and can pass riders well he is not scared to mix it. Hopefully he can settle in quickly and get good support from Lawson and Brennan along with picking up some sponsors to ensure his equipment remains at Championship standard . I think Max Perry should continue with NL and maybe could do a job at Plymouth

SteelShoe
Poole are hardly struggling and will have one strong reserve all season barring injury anyway. They could/should have given Max more time for sure but speedway is a huge confidence sport and if Max has been struggling with confidence then it is maybe in his best interests short term to rebuild that outside of the pressure of Championship racing. I have been watching Vinnie Foord's progress over the last month or so and he has definitely progressed . Be interesting to see how he does at Championship level.
SteveLyric2
Wow a young rider in speedway has been replaced by another young rider in speedway! It's been happening for years in all teams. Moving on........

They have strong reserves & are hardly likely to replace their missing number one with a (sub) 2.00 rider. Unless you mean in future seasons?

LisaColette
I am assuming the other club that approached Foord at Glasgow British U21s would have been Edinburgh? Can't think who else would need a 2 pointer?

lbw
Richard Lawson picked up an ankle injury at King's Lynn last night. Anyone any idea on how long he is out for? All I know is that he misses the British Final
