One thing championship and NDL but Prem and CL !

I would have thought the costs would be too prohibitive plus getting the fans to attend in numbers twice a week is a big ask but who knows ?

Given the lack of teams it's not likely to be twice a week. What it may mean is that there is speedway once a week throughout the season (although not on the same day each week).

If that’s what Oxford are trying to achieve, then good on them. Season runs long enough considering how many teams there is so alternating matches weekly could work. Issue with this though is the inevitable rain offs and how they’d be able to squeeze rearranged fixtures in, let alone cup runs etc. But, hopefully they can make it work.

Let's hope it doesn't hurt them financially. But guess they would have costed it out. Shame they can't do one of the teams under Swindon and get Rosco to TM it.

Before anything Swindon need a track or at least a piece of land to put one on. Personally Swindon at Oxford is a non starter

Can’t see Premiership at Oxford next year. They announced the 2024 greyhound calendar the other day and they have meetings every Monday (evenings) and Thursday (afternoons).

In the cold light of day surely the concept of running CL and PL is too great a financial risk in this era for anyone.

Putting 2 and 2 together though is it possible Kent and Mildenhall may be saved by a few Clubs running NDL.

Possibly Oxford, Scunthorpe Stags, as double down from CL and PL respectively? Would anyone else join in?

Do they? Some have been to watch Oxford though, so can't that much. Cradley Heath had a team at Wolves in the NL some years ago. They didn't like each other either!

Me and my mates are some of those who have travelled up from Swindon a few times. We are glad Oxford are back. But we always want the oppo to win! Unless its Poole and then its a tough call for us due to the rivalry in the top league we had for the last 10 years or so! A Swindon team at Oxford would never work. You wouldn't get enough travelling support from Swindon or enough Oxford fans attending the Swindon matches to make it viable.

Oxford WILL be in Prem and championship in 2024

When are they going to race in the Prem then? Because they can't do Mondays and Thursdays!
