Team bonding! They will either be riding with or against each other every week pretty soon sick of the site of each other!

"Hi I'm Charlie, ex British Champ, says so on me van.

I don't like upstart little rubbishs getting in my way, just ask Brennan

Got it, get it and we'll be good"

Only Charles has never had sign writing on any of his vans, he doesn’t even own a van, simply uses an unmarked hired one during the season .

As for your childish comment , no rider likes anyone getting in their way, team mate or not.

So it will be Scunthorpe or Workington then. Which begs the question why pay anyone when you have your own track to practice on.

Nothing wrong with practicing on a different track, especially one with less dirt on than Redcars. Many teams hire other tracks to have a day out on, for all sorts of reasons .

Reading in the Speedway Star that Redcar have/are hiring a track for the team to practice/team bond soon. My question is why hire a track when you have your own to practice on? Surely time would be better spent learning your home track than a different one. Begs the question of whether we a track curator yet ? Anyone know anything ?

It is a very practical solution. Presuming Redcar hasn't started to get their track unto speed, it is sensible and more practical to get track time at somewhere near them who will have their track prepped for their amateur meetings. I wouldn't think the racing will amount to much but getting on the track, testing and setting up their bikes and having a bit of opposition as well as a bit of chin wag with their new team mates and management will help them set up their season perfectly. They will certainly be fit physically and mentally with Gavin in charge.

Bears Dealt Huge Blow On The Eve Of The Season As Jorgenson Is Ruled Out!

It feels like DeJa’Vu for the Agilia Bears after losing James Shanes just weeks before the start of the 2023 season, now unfortunately Thomas Jorgensen has had a huge setback in his recovery and will require surgery on his back injury which will rule him out of the start of the season.
Co-promoter Jamie Swales said ‘We never felt it was a gamble when we signed Thomas despite his injuries, Thomas’s rehabilitation was well ahead of schedule, and he reassured us everything was going well. Unfortunately, last week that all changed when he started getting pain in his back, after a visit to the specialists he was told an operation would now be needed. We all wish Thomas well in his recovery and hopefully we see him back on track at some point in 2024, but we now find ourselves once again looking for a replacement with only weeks until the season starts. Talks are already underway with several riders, and we hope to be able to announce a signing very soon’

What a farce! Two seasons in a row this has happened now.

Anybody know what we have average wise to play with ? James shanes all over again !!!

6.89 left I think. TJ was 6.39 and we were 0.50 under the limit.

Not sure who is available at this late stage, tough blow for the team and TJ.
