Personally think he'd be a terrible choice, signing a 2.7 rider on a 4.1 average.

I'd personally pick: Borke, Proctor, MacDonald, Roynon or Nielsen before Clegg.

All of those would be poor signings compared to what you could have at reserve.

Borke would be a good signing at reserve? But from the rumours on here he's going to Berwick anyway. Clegg and Roynon wouldn't be that bad either. Not so sure on Nielsen, MacDonald or Proctor though... Especially the latter

Who would be a better signing then?

By the process of elimination I think Vissing, Rowe and Gilkes are the final three and they fit perfectly.

Borke & Hodder -> Berwick

Sedgmen/Riss + Castagna & Fredriksen -> Edinburgh (Rumours Riss isn't doing the Championship so likely Sedgmen)

MPT & Mountain -> Scunthorpe

Would be quite weak at 2nd/3rd heat leader level (depending on the improvement of Vuolas & Zischke) but Gilkes would be the strongest reserve in the league by a mile!

Workington
Craig Cook 8.52
Claus Vissing 6.24
Anders Rowe 5.80
Annti Vuolas 5.00
Tate Zischke 5.00
Dan Gilkes 4.84
Sam McGurk 2.00
Total 37.40

Vuolas if rides like he does in the continent would be a heat leader over here very easily.

Can not understand anyone wating Vissing yeah great guy but is he going to improve now ?

No move on like they have with the last two riders signed who have loads of potential.

And as for anyone mentioning Roynon have you seen him ride the last couple of years ? Obviously not.

Not a Vissing fan but whilst he may not improve he is still a 7pt+ man.Wouldnt be the worst signing. IMO

Improve on a 6.24 rolling average? Yes, he will.

Last year Vissing averaged 8.00 at home & 6.19 away, so on a 6.24 rolling average that's fantastic value & I'd certainly expect him to improve that.
