Tate Zischke is on the front cover of this weeks Speedway Star. He also talks about how he is loving life with Workington!

Very personable, modest, level headed young man as well a talent on a Speedway bike. His family must be very proud of him along with Darcy Ward and all his sponsors. For 18 years old he has been deeply impressive. Good on ya young Tate.

I saw Tate for the first time at Redcar & thought he's one of the most exciting riders I've seen in years. Thrilling to watch.

Yes think he was the only one with big enough b&lls to go off the inside gate  and go straight through the mass of clay on the inside of turn one all the other riders just shut off and steered around it off the start

So is the meeting being streamed? No way many Poole fans can get to Workington for 3pm on a Saturday. Happy to pay the 11.99 to watch the meeting. Can’t seem to find the streaming service on the official site. Can someone point me to it please.

How can they not? Plenty cheap places to stay the Friday night or you just get up nice and early.

Dead easy to get to worky leave Poole at 6 be in worky for 1 watch the speedway book into travelodge often cheap deals, morning in lakes on Sunday, then return to poole, easy for you lot but the comets fans will need 2 days leave to get a mid week meeting

But I bet they will be more comets fans at Wim board road that Poole fans at the GT tyres northside arena  UTC

Football fans do those kind of journeys every Saturday. Where there's a will there is a way.

It's the privileged Poole fans they expect everything on their doorsteps .

The draw is shown as Poole v Workington so I assume that should mean the Comets host the 2nd Leg?

Workington's number 4 was first one called in the semi final draw - Poole 2 were next out, as can be seen in the BSN coverage last night during the interval.

The balls were numbered in alphabetical order ie Edinburgh(1), Poole(2), Scunthorpe(3), Workington(4)

However Poole do have some 'open' dates in their fixtures list this month so who knows?!

I believe Poole are taking the 1st leg.

AHH but , workington were pulled out the bag first  .

in football,   cup draws , the first ball/number is always at home first . the second ball is the home teams opposition .

football does not discuse after the draw has been made  who  has the first leg .  as its a one off match .

i knoow what any replies will be ! AGG scores ..

may the best team win and we will .

What's the bets poole want the second leg !

So what if they do, doesn't mean they'll get it. Anyway I don't see how having the second leg at home is seen as an advantage (unless it's an aggregate draw). Last year the BSN series, KOC & play-offs were all won by the team that had the home leg first.
