The decision makers certainly were but like I mentioned previously the wrong rider in the wrong season. In 2023 we could have carried him along and let him find his feet at his own pace with Bomber and Basso doing the heavy lifting. That may have set him up better to ride for us in 2024. Glasgow now have a dilemma, do they keep him having given him a season to bed in and bank on him improving next season or thank him for his efforts. Leon bar a couple of meetings has been average around Glasgow but we knew that when he signed ,he hasn’t mastered it and he probably won’t if he still hasn’t worked it out by now. Does anyone know when the cut-off for fixtures to count ahead of the play-offs is? May mean Glasgow having to race on an off night or a double header etc. If this situation happens when there's far less fixtures, how will clubs manage racing 16 home matches instead of (the minimum) 11?
