Lol. Zach got 14 at Scunny the other day outscoring Dougie by a point. He also won the Olympique last night, where experienced track specialists like Dougie and Harris got sixes and sevens. And yet he is going to only be a Champ second string according to you. Either you are trolling or never watch him ride! lol

Zach is a decent enough rider but i cant see him improving much past where he is

Averaging 6.22 isnt pulling up any trees

He does his job scoring 7 or 8 at home and often beating his opposing number second string and the other teams reserve.

He did very well at Scunthorpe and did out score Duggy but had one extra ride and yes he won the Olympique but that throws up odd results because of the format

Ben is the one going places out of the two.

That said i would take either at Ipswich next season as a number 6

I’ve always thought Borke would end up at Glasgow next season. Watching him at Armadale was painful at times, sadly, as such a talented rider but one of the worst gaters and struggled on the tighter track. Less of an issue at Glasgow. Sure he’d prefer a home track he’s far more comfortable on.

I wud have kept tom b if I'm honest with his gb discount he's about 7 I think not higher maybe a wee bit lower he's getting better slowly & a rider only going to get better which is the trick in team building ..borke under 4 is good buisness as he likes ashfield ...but I heard a while ago tigers spoke to kye Thomson ?.

Cook brothers will end up like Kurtz brothers.

A decent PL heat leader and international level (Ben) and a journeyman PL reserve and CL second string respectively. (Zach)

As with Brady and Todd

I definitely think there'll be a gap between them but let's be real here, Zach Cook has already surpassed Todd Kurtz quite comfortably. I could see him being closer to someone like Steve Worrall/Richard Lawson maybe.

Only @Cast1rn has a fascination with their averages. Which are 7.39 for Ben and 6.22 for Zach. Ben's seem what you would expect imo. Maybe Zach's would be considered false considering the form he is on atm. If you want them, you would have to get rid of at least Basso or Harris are maybe even both and have King as no1 for example.

You called... :D  their averages at the start of 2023 were 6.09 for Ben, now 7.39 and Zach was 4.92 now 6.22.

So both riders put 1.30 on their averages riding in the main body of the team, last year Zach was riding at #6 and if the playoffs and cups had counted he would've been on around a 7. Something.

So my point was the averages they were on were nonsense for this season, Now they are on the realistic averages and I will be massively surprised if they are both with Poole next year.

Borke won't be under 4 he'll be 4.00.

I get the feeling you want them split up, but I would be surprised if they are not at Poole. Well Redcar is both of their second choices btw ;)

I would honestly be massively surprised if they weren't both at Poole next year.

I would have kept Brennan too, gets a British discount, plus had a lot of meetings at number 5, which would lower his average.

Borke is on 4.00 and Fredriksen is on 4.57.

Borke's away average was 4.12, whereas Fredriksen's was 6.36.

It's all very well saying Borke went great at Ashfield, but if we want to have a shot at retaining our title, we need to focus on away form. Borke was not a good away scorer. We don't want to be taking riders whose real average is below their actual average IMO. And for all that Bastian scored 8 at Ashfield in the Championship match, Lasse scored 9, including beating Marcin Nowak in heat 8. That didn't happen often. Lasse's under-rated, for me.

Fredricksen has been very unlucky with injuries, certainly on a good averages if he could steer clear of injury.Lasse was ok at Ashfield in the GP Challenge a couple of seasons ago.

You only really need to be good away on the play-offs. Signing riders who you hope will come good with more experience on British tracks isn't a bad idea.
