He needs to find some form asap for the tigers, nobody’s expecting him and Edwards to win races but had too many last places which is putting too much pressure on Tai, Jack and Chris 1

4BenMoran
If that’s Woffinden out for a length of time then get play off Bob in the team, with Lambert having a lower average it might help with possibly strengthening up the reserve area

Tellboy is correct. Lambert for Woffinden still put you over the 40 point limit so it’ll just be a straight swap, and any other changes will have to be the same, or lower than the average of the rider they’re replacing. Manifesto
An absolute sickener seeing Woffy have that fall. He has arguably been our best rider this year and cannot be replaced for what he brings to the team. I hope the injuries are not too serious
Hackett
Woffinden has been excellent value in the British League but that soil sample looks as though that is his season done. Blame the track prep over watering and making it a one racing line 2cms from the airfence. Vaculik was saying that the track prep is very different for Ekstraliga but they have no say in the SGP meets and it is no advantage being a home rider. Even Hancock wearing his SGP Monster hat reading between the lines said the track was very different from a Ekstraliga meeting. Playoff Bob has to be the answer for Sheffield with Steady using his Team GB persuasion.
Gasser90
What do we think tai’s announcement will be tomorrow ?? Finished for the season or just something like he won’t be fit for Cardiff which was his target to be back for ?

I’m sure I read somewhere that If he has one more crash and damages that elbow he will have very complicated issues for the rest of his life….. can’t be worth the risk surely, he’s got his fingers in a few pies business wise plus he’s starting his DJ career, 3 time world champ, he’s got nothing to prove to anyone anymore

I do that he is on a wind down in his career, and I think that he will maybe ride UK and Poland 2nd or 3rd tier, and of course I think we all know that his GP career is over. JoeW436
Think it will just be UK or career done, nothing left to prove.

As far as I'm aware, as long as he waits till the injury is properly healed there's no long term risk.

4BenMoran
Sheffield ride their 18th league match (75% marker) of the season on 1st August, can they really afford to wait for Woffinden? He’s not going to ride until Cardiff and even if he did ride prior I imagine Wroclaw will have first dibs on his services possibly the weekend prior to Cardiff and if that doesn’t go to plan for him that’s R/R and guests for the rest of the season and we’ve seen how that hasn’t worked recently. Surely if there’s anyone out there (Musielak, Lambert, both have good relations with the club) that can ride from next week/week afters fixtures before we hit that 75% threshold they need to come in. Gone are the days of Woffinden bringing in additional 10’s of fans to Owlerton (away meetings possibly) and a new face might just bring that team spirit spark back which hasn’t been there this season.
