Off 2024 topic. But can any Plymouth fans confirm. What sort of publicity did the club receive. When Jessica Lamb rode for them in 2006. The Devils first season in Premier League.

Probably not as much as Workington and the second female to race at this level are.

Was the Conference League (now National League) the Devils were in in 2006

She rode for Somerset in 2003 (3 rides 0 points) in the second-tier (British League Cup, I think) first and it is/was her only second-tier match.

Surely those images that came out over the weekend of the excavator struggling with the conditions at Plymouth must be considered a PR mistake.

I cannot believe more has not been made of the very poor conditions.

Compare those images to the ones released by Leicester of their new training track and the early winter work that has obviously been going on with the main track.

Not for me.

I applaud them for improving the dimensions of the track and trying to improve their product, and its interesting to see what they've been doing and how.

And at the end of the day the motorway blade they have there which has been in photos will smooth it all out to a billiard table before the season starts anyway.

A big well done to Plymouth looking to improve the track, yes it did look bad, but remember still 2 months till the season starts, a little bit of dry weather and a drying wind will help things big style, looking forward to my visit in may with the comets

Or it shows just how hard people are working in and around the stadium to improve the track and ultimately the racing. Of course I’m biased being a Plymouth fan but I actually think the pictures give a real truth behind what happens in off seasons and I’d like to think most fans will empathise with the challenges faced to help a club improve their product.
