Didn't Glasgow do their best to ensure you won the meeting. Reid and McKinna both got excluded in the final heat - tapes and 2 minutes but Dixon fell and the Bears lost the meeting and the title. Turning point was probably in heat 11 when Geoff Powell knocked Jim Burdfield off when passing him. Was impressed with Burdfields restraint when protesting the decision in what would prove to be my last night in the box.

Glasgow didn't want Ellesmere to win the title after they got the league points awarded on some technicality - track staff stopping a race rather than the referee or something like that!

Glasgow Reserves, David Cassels 7, Geoff Powell 10 + 2. Middlesbrough reserves, Bernie Collier 0, Roland Tebbs 1. Think that must of been Leggy Powells best ever meeting for Glasgow. That is where the meeting was won. Both Of Glasgows venues were terrible race tracks. When they raced at Blantyre. Ideal for Gaters, like Steve Lawson.

Poole website reckons its r/r on Sunday!!!?

I wouldn’t pay much attention to Poole’s website; it says Danny King is their captain.

Tacky kevlars and an out-of-date website. It’ll be a miracle if they win this grand final.

Might be nice if whoever starts a topic on a match isn’t a troll and actually puts a genuine post up about the match

It’s pretty pathetic that a supposed grown man gets his kicks from trolling a forum looking for bites from supporters by posting crap

As we all know Poole have thrashed Glasgow many times I think Complin has had like 14 rides with 0 points at Poole!

But wait Glasgow have Tarasenko so must be favourites lol

Anyways let’s hope Poole choke (they won’t)…

Should have worried about your own team first!!

As a Glasgow fan, I and probably most want the first leg, why? Because if we do like last year and the year before  and completely collapse at Poole it makes the home meeting a waste of time. The attendance at last year's second leg was awful, so at least if we even manage a  10/12 points lead to take down there, there would at least  be some optimism as opposed to a 22 point deficit to make up.

Couldn't agree with you more
