Glasgow V Poole Championship Final 8/10/23 6pm

Recommended Posts

Gate and go and no passing at all but Glasgow are miles in front out of the starts. Our heat leaders can’t get close to their second strings. Waste of time for neutrals and Pirates fans but Glasgow fans will be loving it. Lol. Oh well can’t win it every year.

Absolute disgrace from all Poole riders, off the pace and not even at the races. Glasgow have one hand on this title who are getting stuck in. Need to steady the ship or this is going be over by heat 10 this final. Gaters paradise but same for both sides.

Over already. Can’t compete for speed against Tarasenko, Harris, Basso and Brennan. Tarasenko wins every heat by 50 metres plus.

Different from Poole gate and Go no doubt.

When you think of the 100% commitment oxford gave last week on a track miles worse than this

Track last week was far worse than tonight. Caught the Glasgow riders out. Tonight is set up for them. No complaints though. Make your own luck and we haven’t been on it.

This is what I don't understand. Most Tigers fans consider this exciting racing but it's like watching F1. It's often like this and crowds have dwindled but because Glasgow are winning meetings week in and week out it's "exciting". The Sheffield-Ipswich clash last week had a lot of exciting races and overtaking despite the terrible weather and it was considered "boring". Go figure.

Bit ironic gate and go from a Poole fan.
