See the ahem (prat & wally) on here who don't get this is a forum for opinions & points of view feel free not to come on here then...I don't call them names I could its very easy to hide & be a keyboard warrior ?.. i comment on the speedway & if I think a rider isn't good enough or is dangerous to others ,gonna cost my team a chance of title I will put that point across its allowed  ...no points made here then no forum surely its not just for cheerleading you can do that with pom poms at any speedway stadium...if you don't agree it's fine but see if you wouldn't say anything to my face don't txt it on here & run away ...as for ace rode his socks of at Workington that is nowhere near the level required to beat Poole...he has clearly been struggling for glasgow Workington has got nothing to do with it ..he's fell again tonight fact which is something he is regularly doing that was my point ..I think in a few yrs he might be ok but he's struggling badly now thats my point & I stand by it ..

Next time am at glasgow will let u know and will talk to u face to face no probs,as for ace he wasnt the only one to fall off yesterday ,a magic moment was when his dad came running onto the track and went straight to the bike ignoring ace lol

No Anders tonight, that’s a big loss as he does well at Glasgow normally.

Thats not good news for us. However, if Anders isn’t 100% then it’s best he sits it out. Will put extra pressure on our reserves and Zack. Certainly reduces our scoring ability as Anders is very good around Ashfield.

And not always Zach's best track, hope he has one of his better ones

Oh dear. I see now Lee's form has picked up a bit going to double down on ace. Maybe, just maybe he wants to be part of a possible league winning side and is doing everything to be fit. You know the way you'd be desperate for if it was Ben or bomber. Ace has done more than the job was asked of him this season and using Smith against Poole isn't going to score you more points anyway imo.

Theo I think on every fall bar the one against Berwick has gone to the bike first lol. I suppose it's a mental thing at times that he has to distance himself from being his son to thinking of him as would any other rider, take the emotion out it

Last 5 meetings round ashfield 2 0 3 3 8. Wouldn't exact say that's very good form personally...

Anders has come on alot this year, his last score of 8 is most recent form, Zach last score was 3

Ah so alway goes well now means had 1 good meeting there that happened to his most recent one. Got you lol. Zach has 2 scores of 6 and 1 of 7 at ashfield. I'd say that's more encouraging than someone who had 1 good meeting. No it's clearly not Zach's favourite track but should be more than capable of scoring well

Personally as the dad and mechanic of a rider I also go to bike first after a crash leave medics to do their job whilst I do mine . If bike is ok when picked up then see how lad is . It is difficult to do this at times but it right to keep out the way at first

Was it though? Even Kelvin said the racing wasn't good. Barring 13, 14 & 15 was gate and go. Didn't think that or the wolves meeting previous was a very satisfactory ending to the season being run in terrible conditions. Once again the huge issue with play offs in this country, running most important meetings of the season in October!!

Tell that to Josh, Doyley and Harris who all took part in some incredible overtaking. But yes it was boring if you say so.

Whenever Ace falls off he acts like every bone in his body is broken. Every time. Not sure if it's a teenage thing or not.

I'd argue "boring" is the wrong term, then again so is "incredible overtaking". There were a couple of decent outside passes but the spectacle was ruined by the weather, and it was a bang average meeting overall.

It makes you wonder what the driver behind it was. Ipswich rescheduled a day later against Ipswich Town football, Sheffield persisting in treacherous conditions. Why? It's the first week of October during a spell of decent weather.

Ho hum. A pity Glasgow has also fallen victim to the weather today. Hopefully tomorrow night is better.

Anders ability and form has improved dramatically as the season has gone on. He probably didn’t want the season to end and the strives he has made is clear to see. Certainly one of the first names on 2024 team sheet. His loss will be noticeable and it’s likely he will miss the second leg as well.

I agree to a degree but much rather be going with Anders in the team, his last score shows how he has improved this season. I would point out I wasnt the one who said he was usually good at Ashfield.
