Just over 11 hours till the meeting and neither teams websites have meeting previews on. Really poor show from both sides

Just read the preview on Bears Facebook page.

Flint guests for Wright (was hoping for someone else tbh).

Expect Scunthorpe to get a decent lead tonight.

Was supposed to be Sedgmen but obviously he got hurt on Wednesday, Flint was announced on Wednesday at the meeting. Also Provisionally Scunthorpe at Redcar next Friday.

Ben Cook would have been a good choice imo

Edit: forgot Poole were racing tonight

Agree Yerbs. Can only see, an easy Scorpions win. A stroll around the EWR for scunny. Bears might get 30, but leave  second leg irrelevant.

The reason why Godfrey picked today was for the poor guest choices we had

Both Scunthorpe & Redcar have Friday as their main race day, but can race on others, & we are nearly into October meaning less dates for the final v Poole as the weather gets worse & colder.

About what I expected but a very entertaining meeting again at Scunthorpe.

Bears started well and kept it close for a while but the Scorpions pulled away. Most of the Bears battled well, including Flint.

Some cracking racing from both teams.

Unless Bears get a decent guest for the second leg the Scorpions should be favourites for that meeting too and should progress to the final easily.
