They could lose 1000+ off the gate and have ridden on Wednesday. Many local sports fans must be well peed off. There’s little choice for the locals to make as they would have already purchased their football ticket in advance so won’t waste it. The biggest meeting for the speedway club in recent years and they get it completely wrong. I cannot get my head around it. It still irks me that people say Lambert was “only signed for the play-offs”. Presumably without TV involvement they would not have called it off before lunchtime today, and looking at the current forecast (approx 3 hours light intermittent rain this afternoon, but dry later) would have decided to give it a go. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
