In terms of relevance to Berwick, they proved to a point to Stewart, who believe it or not manages Berwick ! Also, the twins rode against Berwick last night, seems liked there's enough relevance to me!

Awful rider. No riders available to improve the main body which is a shame as Schlein won’t ride again this season and Etheridge and Hume are both very poor riders. As for Freddy Hodder, surely it’s time to give Mason Watson or a local lad a go, after all they can’t possibly score any worse. Starke was local-ish and cheap. Bit harsh on Hume although he has been poor on the road his home scores have been good and 2024 average is up on his starting number. It always looked a bit early for Hodder and the lack of a consistent wing to be taken under and guided by has seen any progress stall but to suggest Mason Watson as a replacement is madness, might save a couple of quid on travel for the home matches but will need a guest for all the away ones that are a bit far. I am sure 2019 Redcar were struggling brought in Riss and made the playoffs at our expense.

Hume been great at home but what a waste of time, he’s the English Dany Gappmaier. 13 hours ago, BacktrackBandit said: Another horrendous result for the Bandits in a meeting which was probably our last opportunity to get pts on the board this season Who would pick Paul Starke as a guest once, never mind twice? Agree regarding Watson not at Hodder level or potential.IMO.It was always going to be tough for Freddie but he is not the only 2 point man finding it tough. Lewi and Bastion injuries were a big blow(now Rory who was doing a great job)IMO our 3rd Heatleader is a problem but who knows.Tough fixtures to come. Starke was cheap and that's what you get back, and hume like has been already mentioned was very disappointing - been decent at home but very poor on the road. At this stage of the season it's looking like we'll struggle from now till the end of the season especially without rory .

Do we persevere until next set of averages, which will change after Glasgow Home & Away.New averages would come into force July 1st and would more than likely be the same for August as we have no meetings in July until 24th and 23rd is cut off date. At least we won't be lumbered with Stark in those matches, hopefully young Luke Harrison will be available.
