Looks like the gate doctoring did not help the tiggers :D

I don't understand why the riders have requested to have the gates prepared in a way they are never usually prepared. But then, they ask the track staff to do all sorts of things at the interval and then don't prepare for it, so it's all in character for them.

With the gates that rough they are 2 wheeling it into bend 1, not any good if you are trying to pass anyone in front of you

A tape touch doesn't count as a ride though.

A frustrated ride is one, whether programmed or not, including nomination as a TS, RR and IRR, which results in a disqualification for a starting offence, or for any reason, is unable to take part in a re-run and is replaced by another rider. Speedway Control Bureau Regulations 123 If no replacement is made it is a compulsory ride and counts towards the minimum 3 ride rule. If a replacement is made it will not count towards the minimum 3 ride rule.

I agree with everything you've said, but read many comments saying Glasgow are stronger without him / won't want him back?

So I was right in what I said then.

Those who think it strengthens us are wrong. I think he might be struggling for sponsorship, which might be a barrier to coming back.

But he's got a great GSA compared to his 2023 average. One of the best in the league.
