He said he was fit and speedway doesn’t use a squad system, so Glasgow would perhaps need a doctors certificate to counter the rider saying he is fit. It would be very poor to leave a rider out of the team who help get the club to the final in the first place. Steve, I assume you’re a Poole fan?

I'm fairly sure Vissing is fit to race at this stage & his absence is now tactical but of course it also impacts on Sheffield who also race on the Tuesday after the call off at Ipswich, will be keeping an eye on the Premiership match. If u think vissing is tactical you must be on drugs at home he is needed as he's very good at ashfield how on earth is complin & pijper a tactical move 2 of his races cv must be taken by a reserve utter nonsense ...away u might have a point certainly not at home

Nickinho
Just wondering what the methodology is behind moving Basso to 5 and Tarasenko to 3. Good decision or bad decision?

Good decision or bad decision? Not sure. Maybe because Tarasenko can get away with the setup being off a bit more if he's at 3? Ben will probably be dialled into the track better from the off. I'm not sure it makes much difference to be honest though. We've got three guys who would all be good if running at #1 so it doesn't matter too much. Tom is now easily the strongest #2 in the league now too. It should be tight for the aggregate point, but this is easily within our power to win.

lbw
If it's Glasgow that go through then I don't see them racing at home on the planned Friday looking at the weather forecast. Hope the fixture can be rearranged for Saturday or Sunday so Pirates still get the 2nd leg next week. Edited October 3, 2023 by lbw
