It's a shame that someone showing enthusiasm for attending a Speedway meeting pisses you off. I reckon some slack required from you when posting.

Glasgow v Oxford now scheduled for next Tuesday 3rd October (no doubt following intervention by the League Sponsors!) so unlikely that Poole will have a home meeting next Wednesday?!! Maybe they did ask lots of riders but it's not a coincidence that when there's nothing at stake then R/R gets wheeled out. Smacks of not being bothered. Think if they had had Howarth it would smack of not being bothered coz he's been next to useless around WINborne Road in recent visits. But we may not want to as surely Poole would want to second leg, so potentially be at Oxford next Weds or Glasgow next Friday and ride following Weds at home? Although sometimes I prefer having the first leg at home as long as you build up a decent lead the other team is playing catch up.

corfe pirate
I think Arthur's ire was aimed at one poster in particular. An individual who trolls Poole threads on a regular basis, (and P's a lot of people off in the process). I don't believe he meant any disrespect to fans of rival clubs in general.

There is time, on this occasion, to take a breath........I think but then again this is speedway. Edited September 27, 2023 by lbw
