Brady soon departed and he was left with Buster, who whether you believe it or not, didn't wanted him riding in many meetings due to his cost. Ended up at Peterborough because that meant the cost wasn't put on Lynn Think he could be forgiven to some extent based on the joke surroundings he was amongst. Personally think Laguta could thrive at a club like Ipswich which provides a more stable environment for their riders. We literally posted the same thing at the same time, fully agree. Great minds and all that, but as we're both agreed on Laguta... you can be Lagutas biggest fans best mate, he's all yours

Although you can never be totally sure until they’ve ridden here, but he’s obviously a classy rider and you’d think would take to the tracks here pretty well. Not sure too many would be disappointed with him. Presumably he’d come in on 8, so that leaves the question on what you do with the extra point (1.16). Do you leave things as they are or strengthen further and sign the available Zach Cook and replace Jenkins..

Most of the tracks he rode in that time are sadly gone though
MP78
If management were prepared to stick with Riss last year through his troubles, then I would be surprised if they let Jenkins go, especially as he does (to me) appear to be turning the corner and improving week by week. I wonder if they might be holding on until early next week for a decision on team changes to make sure Ellis and King come through the British final unscathed? Jenkins has picked up a little, but it’s a pretty low bar. He’s been generally poor this season so far in both leagues, but as you say, he’s won a couple of important races recently. BUT, Hawkins said this on the official website this week.. ”we will look at options and see what we can do, and we will do what is best for Ipswich Speedway and do our very best to make us the strongest team out on track” There can’t be an argument that if an 8 point man is brought in to replace Doyle, then another change (i.e Cook for Jenkins) would make the team stronger. Is not replacing Jenkins with Cook “doing what is best for Ipswich Speedway to make us the strongest team out on track”? The obvious answer is no. I’m with you though, I think it’ll be a straight swap for Doyle and that’ll be that. But it could end up being another opportunity missed. King has withdrawn from tomorrow’s British final by the way.

szkocjasid
An 8.00 rider & Zach Cook to replace Doyle & Jenkins, does seem a good option. Especially as it means Dan T dropping back down to reserve (with Rew). Leaves them with a potent reserve pairing.
siggysigalos
It seems a few who have named our Doyle Replacenent could be right and announcement is imminent, the hard work by Chris and Ritchie and I'm sure Guy Nicholls may soon be rewarded with a GP Rider signing.

I've lost track with various names being banded about, hopefully it's Michelsen and not Madsen coz he's a bit flaky if the track is overly grippy or wet, pretty much a gating tart majority of the time.

I wouldn't say I'm a 100% Certain Kevin, but it seems Mr Michelsen could be close to becoming a Witch in next few days. But as we all Know in this Sport, 1 Phone Call,a Dodgy Visa or something else like Laguta not being brave enough to turn up every week, things can change very quickly.
Arch Stanton
I initially assumed he was heavily involved, but I assure you Guy Nicholls knows absolutely nothing about it. Chris has done this alone.
siggysigalos
I must admit I just assumed Guy was also involved, but I knew Chris and Ritchie were working so hard to bring a rider of GP quality in. So if it is Chris, fair play to him, it seems it's a nightmare trying to get these deals over the line in Speedway.
