Would they risk getting deducted another two points for putting out a severely understrength side.

Does it matter ? Season is over at this stage...

Yes i think it matters, especially to the fans. The season maybe over, but you still want to see your team be a bit competitive.Your kind of thinking only sees more fans leaving the speedway scene even earlier.

I don’t see how the authorities could as if there isn’t any better options.
You can’t call off meetings due to riders injuries or availability.  We would only have a few meetings in April otherwise

It was a question, not an opinion...:)

I reckon Buster will have one of his weather forecast's.

BBC showing light rain on Thursday so that's enough for him to call it off. Will be interesting if KL do not get all there fixtures completed by the end of August, will the BSPA / SCB postpone play off`s until KL complete there league fixtures?

That can't be a rule as Oxford make team changes attempting to do this lol!

As long as they put out the strongest side available, that's all they can do.

I know it used to be but that doesn't appear to be a rule anymore

Ipswich went in to meetings severely hampered by numerous injuries this season. At one point they went in to meetings without FOUR riders (Doyle, King, Ellis, Dan) and didn’t attempt to cancel meetings. They just got on with it as everyone SHOULD do.

And made no fuss about it either.

There is nothing on the Met Office which is far more reliable. Not that forecasts this far out are particularly accurate anyway.

People seem to be forgetting that Lynn can't just call fixtures off without the agreement other parties despite it being said about a million times this last week. They will ride with the best guests available, you just have to get on with it and see what happens. Or perhaps a new signing or two, who knows.

What's the weather like in King's Lynn tonight?

Absolutely correct, just look at the quality of guests you had at your disposal though.

Isn't that because they assembled a half decent team to start with? And then had some of those riders improve? Unlike King's Lynn that assembled a bang average team that had little prospect of improving.

You have totally missed it.We could have got pretty much all off the guests that Ipswich used bar Douglas but they aren't available as they are riding.

We went to Birmingham with Nicholls and Blodorn for King and Ellis, Freddy Hodder for Thompson and rider replacement for the best rider in the league Jason Doyle. And still won. For a few weeks early June Louis was working overtime trying to arrange guests, it was a massive headache for him.

More likely to get the Jubilee cup ridden before Kings Lynn complete their fixtures.:D

And Chapman postponed a meeting because he was missing TWO riders with three premiership teams not riding. And a few had the cheek on here to say they should appeal to get their 2 points back. They got off lightly imo.

I agree it must have been a headache, but it must have been nice to be able to get the quality of guest available at the time, with the exception of Hodder,no disrespect to him.Blodorn done ok didn't he:).

Every single time King's Lynn have ridden and required guests? I can't guess what's in your mind, I thought you were making a general point but you seem to be pointing to a specific fixture

It’s irrelevant how well Blodorn did. The point is we were missing 4 riders, probably more than enough justification to ask for a postponement. Both Blodorn and Nicholls had lower averages than those they were replacing by the way. Nicholls almost 2 points lower than King at the time of the meeting, Blodorn half a point lower than Ellis. Hodder was only ever scoring zero with all due respect to him and rider replacement for Doyle speaks for itself. I accept Lynn will have even less options next week but there’s still options from Birmingham and the Championship to put out a side for the meeting. Zach Cook possibly? He must come in to consideration now surely.
