Cleveland Park... with views across the A66 :D

I've travelled that road many, many time and although having been to Cleveland Park I often look down and try and work out where it once was.

I actually enjoyed the two day World Final (I would say that being a Hans Nielsen fan!) as it made a weekend of it.

Yep, It was different for the time and remember well Eric getting beat at the end of Day 1 to throw it wide open.  Hans dominated day 2.  I'm from Bradford and was 19 and didn't check the details of the trip on the Bradford Supporters coach.  Couldn't believe it when we turned down the M1 off the M62.  I assumed we were going to Hull and across, but No.  We drove all the way to Dover and then all up through Belgium into Holland.  Was told it saved £20.

Just realised this is the Guess where? thread. So Scunthorpe ?

Correct on both rider and track.

March 2020 the photo was taken and Doug would have been 72 at the time.

Well Done.

Sorry folks just realised I posted in the wrong section/

That's a big lad on gate 2 :D

I don't think it's Swindon but haven't a clue where it might be?
