Lambert named at #1, so Woffinden was NEVER going to ride.

I can't see a Reg which says that, but recent BSPL decisions prove that it doesn't matter what the Regs say.

LagutaRacingFan
Hearing fans were locked out. Truly disgraceful from Wolves.

LagutaRacingFan
Sam Masters sums up the decline of Wolves. Lindgren Karlsson Woffinden Masters Spot the odd one out.
Perton Wolf
Masters is a poor excuse for a No1, can't even win a heat on his home track. Too much loyalty shown to very average riders over the years, unfortunately. Bringing back Schlein this year was another example of that, too.
JoeW436
Brilliant from Robert Lambert, one ride to get dialled in and then unbeaten so far after that, class.
CB252
For all the nonsense written on here, I must say, from the discovery footage, the meeting at Monmore looks far more entertaining than what we're watching from the NSS.

Wolfsbane
The clue was there with the superheats at home. Dire stuff.

I did, Wolves have been poor at Home all season but have caught lucky breaks time after time in Super Heats to nick league points. Masters has been in terrible form for a while now too.

Depends what you like really, the Wolves meeting looked very good with passing in most races but personally I prefer much faster racing even though it can be a bit processional at times. That heat 15 at BV was something else though.

The action at Monmore looked pretty good though
LagutaRacingFan
Wolves should have tried to gone out with a bang. Why didn't they try to tempt Freddie Lindgren back to British Speedway in August?

But fast racing for me.

That’s the fault of the rules are per usual. Maybe you might suggest they are weakened then with Lambert in the line up. Dodgy selective research tho. I held my hands up in a follow on post that my research was not up to scratch, and now i am now happy to hold my hands up and say to Beowolf that i was wrong and Robert Lambert is very good around Monmore lol .
stevebrum
Perhaps as expected Wolves limp out (as good as) the play offs. The last few seasons the same team (give or take the odd change but not much) is good enough in the main season but just awful in the play offs. Masters has really gone backwards the 2nd half of the season. the racing was top drawer too which most of us know is often usual fair at Monmore Edited September 25, 2023 by stevebrum Added detail
