Brennan bottles a big meeting again. Waiting on ruckeroo telling me he was excellent again

Just about to say the same should’ve stuck a BV race bib on him in heat 14  he might not have went backwards.

Important we keep to no more than 8.

10 points, I'd say advantage Oxford in the group. Looking forward to tonight's excuse book. Good from bomber and basso, Vadim was roughly what expected. Even 4 points from reserves I can live with. 3 from 5 rides is just totally unacceptable

Still doable for the aggregate point all hinges on how both perform against Redcar.

And also Redcar will fancy there chances although Wright is irreplaceable at home.

Group still wide open.

.

But 3 from Brennan just isn’t good enough.

Reserves were the chillies heel but Brennan wasn't much better.

L10 points is a lot to make up.

At least Vad has ridden Redcar so that is to our advantage.

Should be a cracker I fancy us to do it but it will be close.

Too much presh for Tom , poor result for Glasgow really

All the pressure been taken off him. Riding as second string, no longer captain then get 3 points. Not good enough. Fair play to Oxford, every rider having their moments, think gates went against us in 13 and 15 but deserved winners.

I don't think tonight's result is solely a reserve problem I believe this is a Cami Brown problem and has been for a while now. I'm expecting the usual platitudes such as "Brown vows Tigers will improve", "Brown acknowledges frustrating night" and my personal favourite "Brown admits he doesn't know what he's doing away from Ashfield"

Michael Max should have been team manager it’s really not up for debate.

Its baffling he is not unless he doesn’t fancy it.

Can at least listen to it if anyone is interested.

Thanks for this Lisa. I thought I’d miss the meeting as I was driving, but enjoyed listening to this. Decent coverage from a guy called Leon Foster, I think, and another gentleman whose name I missed.

Glasgow have to be bitterly disappointed by the manner in which the meeting unfolded after the mid-meeting break. They collapsed.

I wonder how accountable Tom Brennan and to a lesser extent, Lee Complin will be held by Cami Brown. Three points each - 6 out of a possible 33 - across eleven rides is unacceptable. On such an important occasion, your captain can’t be out-scored by every opponent, including their reserves. The impact of replacing Nowak with Tarasenko is nullified by that sort of performance.

Oxford sounded efficient and based on their individual scores, looked impressive. Consistent throughout. That’s a very, very good win for them.

Absolutely spot on sir... we all knew our reserves are not up to the job & even lee on harris bike ,but tom cmon that's really poor stuff ...we can still get bonus but in the end our reserves are killing us if any top guy fails ie brennan here were in trouble ..the situation with claus now is key we can't have 2 reserves covering rr it won't work

Riders come and go every season but the one constant in us winning nothing has been team manager.

Coincidence? I think not!

I would suggest that Michael has plenty of say in the management of the Glasgow team…….

I met him around 15 years ago when I was in meeting Stewart Dickson and his knowledge and input he has at the club is invaluable.

Agreed. His knowledge is second to none. He can even recite which helmet colour goes from which gate position for every heat in both columns.

Sadly I think his other commitments prevent him from taking on the manager's job full time.
