Max James Workington Comets50)1. Connor Bailey2. Luke Crang3. Luke Harrison4. Sam McGurk ?5. Ace Pijper6. Elliot Kelly7. Kai Ward (G) The Comets make the trip to Leicester today for a double header, league and KOC meetings hopefully we can do some damage to the Cubs. After best friends Ace and Ashton came together last night both of them may not be fit to take their respective places assuming it will result in R/R for both teams. Here’s to an after of good speedway, C’mon the COMETS! Give us a C!!

szkocjasid
Assuming Sam McGurk pulled out after a fall in the first match, Workington should have moved r/r to cover him, would have meant Harrison eligible for an extra ride (providing they get to heat 14). Not sure if they would have been allowed to.

I think they are not allowed to chance the riding order, buy can't see why they can't move the r/r around?
IainB
Have Leicester ever successfully completed a double header?

In the NDL it seems that 4 hours is the minimum that promoters should allow for when you factor in crashes/stoppages/re-runs etc which are all too frequent at this level. topaz325
Although it was two heavy defeats for Workington , all the Comets riders put in plenty of effort on a night when it was a war of attrition with two meetings on the trot a depleted team and the hot weather . Well done to Leicester they have some talented riders that could do well in the sport .
