Poole riders seemed mire than happy with track before the meeting.

Maybe they were looking to blame something for their shortcomings.

Never heard Worrall or Lawson complain mind.

Lawson said after the meeting and in the post-meeting report that the track was not how they expected it to be!  Reckons it'll be different (better?) for next Wednesday!

Bit late isn't it? :D

Can't write Poole off yet....Joe Thompson needs to get his act together on his return to Scunthorpe....could play a big part in the recovery!

Well Joe should know the Scunny track as well as anyone. He has put as many laps around it since he was a kid than anyone.

Just thought if the meeting at Scunny ends 45 -45 does that mean there will be 2 super heats, one for the win and one for the aggregate score.

Also if so and poole win them both that will mean that poole will have 5 league points and scunny 2. When the aggregate score from both meetings was 90-90. Seems a bit bizarre

No apparently just one. I have asked this question before (when we drew at Redcar) :D

I think a lot of Poole fans were expecting a big win , but fair play to the Scunny 7 riders for getting a draw away from home . But big credit to Rob Godfrey Scunthorpe promoter who has taken a massive gamble by agreeing to Poole away and Edinburgh away before a home tie in the playoffs . So a win away at Edinburgh tomorrow would be very nice before racing 2 matches at home  .
Good luck to the Scorpions and hope King Ryan stays injury free

MPT don’t see what Promoters see in him, very  unpredictable From race too race, and has too many meetings where he is not at the races at all,and doesn’t put in any effort.Definately weak link IMO

He's not particularly fit.

I'd agree. Having said that, he's not for me at King's Lynn in 24. Big clear out needed.

One of these riders who rides or guests against you, and scores well..

So. You sign him, and he does badly...:D

Whilst, guesting well....!! :D

He's had his knocks, and is carrying one now. But as far as Lynn goes, enough is enough, as with a few more of them from this season imho.

He has been struggling all year, not just with knocks & injuries but doing a lot of the work on his own. Driving & mechanicing takes it out of you in mental preparation.

How did riders manage in the past? For instance Bobby Beaton never had a full time mechanic or driver and managed to get to Hull for home meetings and to away meetings from Scotland. :t:

Back in the day riders had one bike, did their own mechanics and driving and the majority held down a job as well.
