So one of the meetings they are not covering is on Wednesday. Poole have a very good in house streaming service so hopefully they are at Oxford, who are yet to announce who they are riding against. That way fans will be able to chose which meeting they want to watch. (Or both) https://twitter.com/watchspeedway/status/1700953570416198093 They are showing Poole Vs Scunny by the look of it. TheWellBehavedWorrall
That’s quite disappointing; you would expect Oxford versus Glasgow to be a closer match, plus it appears that Scunthorpe are making more live appearances on BSN than any other club in the play-offs. @jduffill are you able to shed any light? Because Poole Vs Edinburgh is going to be a mauling. And if having one home match per team in play offs then Poole scunny has most chance of being competitive..could be wrong but think highest scoring away team at Poole this season

If you are Redcar scored 42 in that but only 38 more recently in the league. Scunny scored 41.
TheWellBehavedWorrall
With hindsight, I’m asking about one meeting while we’re getting six live ones in the space of fourteen days. Unbelievable. Incredible work from those at BSN.
lbw
PIRATES to beat the Scorpions 55-35 this time around avin won earlier 49-41. Pirates are now more of a unit since June & have had a lot of progression amongst the riders. Joe Thompson, I believe, adds extra strength at reserve and is also scoring more heavily in the NDL since his switch to the Pirates Not to dismiss the Scorpions reserves strength in Kemp & Ablitt returning to WINborne Road but not returning to haunt us! Business end of the season adds another dimension to our armoury as we fire on more than all cylinders! Watch out watch out there be a Pirate about! SteveLyric2
Not sure Zach Cook is 100% fit with his arm injury, so could be a bit less one-sided.

Are the use of guests restricted to riders from teams who didn't make the play-offs this year. Redcar losing Wright must be a blow as there are effectively only 3 riders (Howarth, Schlein and Sedgman) capable of covering him or could Redcar pull in someone like Ellis or Becker from the PL? If their converted average fits then don't see why they couldn't be used.

Ellis - no because he is not in a named seven Becker - no because his average is too high But in theory yes e.g. Blodorn for Craig Cook would fit. Another anomoly of British Speedway. In the PL Charles Wright's average is higher than Luke Becker's yey Becker can't replace Wright in the CL Edited September 12, 2023 by cinderfella
