Lady luck is really shining down on Ipswich.

Started with Lambert's bike failure at KL, Followed by Leicester bottling it, Now BV and Sheffield are down to 6 regular riders.

Ipswich have ridden the entire season with a 6 man team and still made the play offs and a cup final!

Yeah but Ipswich have a Riss,,, a Rew and a rider at 4 who should be no where near it, that can chuck a bike at the bouncy castle at a drop of a hat

Personally I think Ipswich win the title if Rew can find some form at reserve now, I've even put my money where my mouth is on that with a score on the Witches at 6's.

Ah the old reverse psychology stuff, marvellous. If we do happen to win it, it’s only because of everyone else’s misfortune too. Could smell this coming a mile off but it’s still happened a tad earlier than I expected!

Not reverse psychology everyone needs a bit of luck along the way in any sport.

Just think Ipswich had all of their bad luck earlier in the season but managed to sneak through the backdoor into the play-offs and now the competition are having their dose of bad luck at the wrong time.

Rew is the key to everything because Emil, Doyle & King's points will always keep Ipswich in it over two legs.

You didnt get any injuries during the play offs last season, the injury to Max happened before the play offs.

I know that what i meant was we always seem to pick up injuries as we go into the play offs, Bjerre, Kurtz, Etheridge, Wright during the first leg last season and now again a week before the semi. Whats the rule now as regarding season ending injuries, for example if Tai is now out can Sheffield bring in a replacement at number 1? I thought that so called loophole had been closed after all the moaning about last season, if so seems Simon Stead is happy to go down the same path we did last season. Just asking as to be honest i gave up trying to keep up with the rules. I wouldnt be surprised if Ipswich after just sneaking in go on to win it.

Yes Leicester capitulated in the end but Ipswich still had to go out and win meetings to acrue the points to be in a position to take advantage. We know what we are going to get from Doyley and Emil, if Ipswich can give them that middle order backing over the play offs they could actually go all the way.

Tai is replaced by guests which is Fricke tonight who has been poor up to now. The only option for Wright is r/r.

Cheers so Sheffield can bring in a guest for Tai then, does seem somewhat ironic considering according to many we should not have been able to replace our number1 last season. No doubt Mr Steads opinion has changed. Dont think we will do it with r/r, we need Blodorn and Brennan really on it and the extraliga version of Dan. I have a slight incling towards Ipswich, can never disregard them with their spearhead

Don't think there was any dispute in Belle Vue being able to use guests last season,so there is no need to be a little bitter about Sheffield running with guests for Tai.

Not bitter at all mate, i think teams should be able to replace their number 1, considering all the comments about Lambert last season, and BV being called everythin from cheats to scum over at Owlerton just comes over as a bit hypocritical.

It doesn't really matter...

Let "whoever" do "whatever"is needed....

Let's hope we get four decent semis... (,oo er missus), and a great Final...

No matter how contrived the whole bollocks is...

We can't spend all season "making it up as you go along" and then suddenly decide "we shoud have some credibility"...:D

(Let's just hope those sanctimonious Wolves fans get sod all to celebrate..) :D

Using a guest who has ridden the league here is a little different than signing a ringer.
