I just can’t understand why other teams can get top guests and we can’t there all self employed and it’s a long winter not earning, so you have to ask why because unbelievably until tonight we still had a chance of getting the last playoff spot  . I guess we will never no.

has to be monetary, mike, didnt they infer about 5 weeks ago that money was tight ?

That’s speedway riders for  you unless they getting paid over the odds or a  guarantee they are not interested these days. They must be getting good money for a 6 month job.The second strings complain there is not enough meetings to make it pay.Happy days.

To many of them now want to be classed as professional speedway riders which is at times the problem. Go back to the likes of Steve McDermott had a 9pt average but still worked a normal job and ofter arranged holidays around Bandits away fixtures.

True.

Too many being overpaid for what they produce on track. It’s a closely guarded subject riders wages.

Would like an indication of cost of riders wages for Bullets Team, bet it’s not been cheap.

I actually called a win for the Monarchs although i didn't predict that it would be won in such dramatic fashion. If Worrall comes in for Cook in the play-offs, Lasse comes back in time to replace Clegg and Killeen stays in the team instead of Dayle then this will be a strong team and certainly no push-overs.
