Leicester v King's Lynn 28/08/23

Recommended Posts

We’ve been left in the lurch, Buster and Dale clearly don’t care about Lynn otherwise our team wouldn’t consist of RR and 4 reserves! It’s an absolute joke, I can’t believe they actually have the balls to announce that team if I’m honest!
Leicester have Bewley guesting for Lawson, if we had Lawson then we’d still have Mountain or Thomson guesting for us haha

Are you for real.Lynn have R.Lambert and that is it.MPT is out of sorts since his injury. The others are all Championship 2nd strings or reserves.

Different now that Bewley is guesting but Leicester's original line-up for tonight was no better than KL's.

Overweight Worrall at No.5 (No offence), Sedgmen who's now fallen off a cliff by putting up numerous 0's per meeting.

So R/R for Cook then?

Looks like Belle Vue fancy Leicester over Ipswich in the Play-Off Semi then

Not so sure about that as Leicester should have beaten KL at home anyway, It’s getting the away win that is more important than anything now if BV wanted Leicester in PO they would have allowed them the bonus points

Lucky break for Leicester with Bewley guesting for them, Should be 3 league points to the Lions now.

As Daniel Smith said it looks like BV fancy Leicester in the SF rather than Ippo.

As others have said, this was always down as a 3 point home win and changes nothing. Leicester won’t be winning at Wolves or the new Peterborough side, so they’re now relying on Lynn to do them a favour and beat Ipswich at home.

Not going to happen unless KL make some changes which seems unlikely.

I disagree, One team under immense pressure while the other has got nothing to lose, Obviously it's irrelevant now with Bewley guesting.

We all thought BV would smash KL at the AFA last week and look at what happened.

Agree, Buster decides who will book the final play-off spot, It all comes down to what team he puts out on track for the Ipswich (Home fixture)

We did, but even with our weak bottom end I’m not sure we’ll see paid 28 from the Lynn reserves again! They scored paid 11 between them when we won comfortably there a couple of weeks ago, even having the luxury of not putting Emil in heat 15 either.

Every meeting is different though and it all depends on what the sides look like regarding personnel on the day.
