Yes lol. Although the crowd levels will be better for those meetings rather than against Scunny or Edinburgh/Brum. So if I was the accountant or Bank Manager I would welcome the group of death ha.

The group of death will be the most exciting one and whovever gets throught that deserves to win, IMO Poole will still get the league, you are really good at team building, we are still in the learning curve but after numerous years at the bottom of the table it is nice to be at least challenging at the top end, we still have a way to go to get the right formula but we will persevere

So Poole want a brand new rule - changed mid-season, purely for their benefit .

Or did Edinburgh make it rain?

Bit childish Arnieg, thought you were a bit better than that to be honest.

This year we have mini leagues, not a straight knockout, so it’s more important to finish top of the pile, unlike previous seasons. If Edinburgh fail to get a meeting on, which makes the difference between who finishes top, it could set a precedence that could be exploited in years to come. Imagine the uproar if Poole had Oxford in the last fixture of the season before the playoffs and the winner of the meeting ended top. But then it was rained off and Poole couldn’t / wouldn’t find a spare date to run it and announced we had finished top and get the pick. Fans would be up in arms and rightly so.

Edinburgh are obligated to find a date before the cutoff and I am sure they will.

I can't remember which season, but it's happened in the Champ before, never in the Prem / Elite league from memory

Okay, so as Poole was used as the example. Poole fans have never experienced any playoffs that was a mini group. Always been top 4 in Prem as far as I can remember.

Idk! Any of us can finish top or last, hard to call it! Redcar helped by Jason Edwards getting RS spot in the Prem, should improve his form with more meetings.

Now rearranged for Wednesday 6th September!

Thanks Skidder! I've been checking the Monarchs website but it's not saying anything atm which I'm a bit surprised about as it's normally well updated and not anywhere near as crap as the Glasgow website which is usually about as useful as a chocolate fireguard. Did it say if it's still part of a doubleheader with the Brummies or is it a stand-alone meeting?

Stand alone, brummies match will be the Friday of the Plymouth match.

Third time lucky this Wednesday.

Would be nice if we knew who was riding for Monarchs more than 24 hours before the match.

Any word on Lasse and Craig? Is Luke riding?

Yes he’s back, no idea and he’s riding for Oxford.
