Noticed in a couple of videos that Borke and Pickering posted on Instagram that Cookies bikes weren't in his pit bay when everyone else's were, was it going to be a late r/r announcement or was he there and predicted what was going to happen?

He was there didn’t arrive till 6.15 as got caught in traffic, by this point was hammering down so just left the bikes in the van.

Cook was there.  Was told Pickering had removed his bikes from pits before meeting was called off.

They have used Saturdays before sure an Edinburgh fan will be along to confirm on any other off nights.

Can ride an off night but require permission. Saturday we can do.

Do Edinburgh have any restrictions on which days they can run?

Anyone know when the rescheduled fixtures will take place and if they will still be a doubleheader? I don't mean the exact date as that has yet to be confirmed but will it be within the next week or later?

Expand

Poole will be after the cut off as we won’t win that so not entirely fussed about squeezing it in. Plymouth are at Armadale in 2 weeks and I’m sure we are looking to make that a double header with Birmingham.

I thought that too, Edinburgh should be prioritising the Birmingham match before Poole to gain 6th place.

Yes but if you're Edinburgh you'd want that to be Plymouth and Birmingham, teams may beat. Also it would sort out play off picture better as wouldn't have situation missed meetings between those fighting for last position. Would the management committee prefer that or the Poole match as may sort out 1st and 2nd? Could be interesting

To me the priority should be ensuring the top 6 clubs are in the play-offs, rather than worrying about 1st / 2nd. After all, to be Champions you have to be able to beat any club over 2 legs, so why would you need an easier path to the final?

That being said, given the fuss Poole would make of they missed out on top spot through no fault of their own, the BSPL may find themselves siding with Poole / extending the cut-off date again?

Isn't it also in the rules that it's the home team's responsibility to stage all their fixtures before the cut-off, otherwise they get penalised? Asking for a friend....:D

If Edinburgh can't fit the Poole fixture in  then why not take the abandoned meeting result at 26-10 and award Poole the 3 point:rolleyes:

Expand

We were almost certain to win it, so seems the sensible solution, if can't be fitted in before the cut off

Don’t think so as long as all matches  are completed within the season

I'm not aware of teams being fined for failing to complete fixtures before the cut-off date before despite numerous examples of matches staged after the cut-off date.
