So to avoid spamming the Glasgow thread, who has Ashton Boughen signed for? Doesn’t look like it’s going to be Glasgow now, and can’t see it being Poole or Oxford either after Thompson joined the Pirates and Killeen returned for the Cheetahs.

It's Oxford.

If it’s Oxford it’s pretty obvious it’s Killeen.

It would be a very strange move to get rid of Killeen. Schroeck was only going on about how it’s important to get Killeen back in the team as he’s the future of Oxford and how they’ve invested so much into him. Also they would surely have just kept Kinsley in the line-up for the week or so between Killeen returning and Boughen being available. Really can’t see it happening myself.

They will tell him he’s guaranteed next season.Let’s face he’s no world beater yet.!

No sure need all the fan fare. Yeah he's doing great in the NDL but so did Bickley, rob Branford and countless others that never made it at champ level.

As far bewley comparisons Dan was no overnight sensation, he only got a team place as showed up well at Edinburgh's p&p. Was no fight for his signature. Even his year with us was very up and down.

Imo let the boy develop and find his feet without the next great white hope chain around his neck.

Agree with what you say, but have seen the young kid 3 times this year and he's got the lot, a big future,  the last rider I felt the same about at the same age was Joe screen going ride belle Vue after meetings at 15

I’ve seen him twice live and agree with you ,if he stays level headed and virtually injury free he’s got a great career ahead of him

I don’t think there’s too much harm about getting excited about him on here. If he’s reading forums and letting it go to his head, he probably doesn’t have a great career ahead of him anyway! I honestly think he’s one of the most exciting talents I’ve seen at this age in a long time.

Best young rider i’ve seen since Bewley for sure, but there’s plenty of time for things to go right and wrong, as people have said, look at Bickley.

A lot lot better than Mr b . Plus Ashton can ride a bike and overtake, unlike the other person mentioned did
