Glasgow have decent crowds though.

Won’t suit the narrative that we do ,anyway looking at the forecast for the rest of the week we may not need a crowd as storm Agnes looks to put paid to watching any Speedway this week.

Looks like a small window of dry weather on Friday but the damage may already have been done by then.

Leicester City have the most second tier titles in the English Football League, does that make them the most successful team ever? Typical Poole-fan logic. I think you'll find Belle Vue (13) have the most top tier titles in British speedway!

And do you have any proof Poole have the biggest crowds, every time I've been they've been down on the crowds Oxford currently get.

There's always someone one that walks with their nose pointing Northwards!....watch out for the dog turd!

In one way it's pretty funny. It couldn't be any more Glaswegian.

Knocked out by an angry woman called senga

I make it 9? In the top league for Poole from 1994 onwards not sure about anything before that.

Also he has the same amount of proof as you do saying Oxford crowds are bigger. Unless the clubs release the figures it is all just a guess. I would say Oxford and Poole crowds are pretty similar. Though you prob get the Swindon contingent as well.

Whether Poole have more or fewer than Oxford isn't really the point. Both teams are being successful in their current league through being successfully at the top of the Championship and in Poole's case also in the KO Cup final and having won the BSN series. Both have recently run on 'off days' yet still get decent crowds.  A previous poster said Glasgow's attendance was affected by racing on an off-raceday.

It wasn’t a poor attendance at Ashfield on Saturday though, maybe affected by other sporting attendances but it was decent crowd IMO.

Poole were really successful in 88,89,90 with superb crowds back then in the National League. So much so that the British League pleaded with them to join them.

I know but I didn't go then, so didn't know what happened! Only thing I know previous to 1994 is Weymouth saved Poole from closing.

This is true, and no doubt the speedway world would be a poorer place if they hadn't.

I also note that Poole won six titles during the time Oxford was closed (so they don't count). Haha

The argument I use with Reading (1968-2008) to prove Swindon have never won the league
